Description
This stoneware jar is handmade and hand decorated with a flowing floral design. This design is created using the wax resist method of decoration, where liquid wax is applied to the raw surface of a piece and then colour applied to the whole area. The wax then burns off in the kiln, leaving a beautiful soft focus image.
The little flower on the lid of the jar is hand modelled so the lid needs to be washed with care. The base of the jar is microwave and dishwasher safe.
